Where Dreams Begin and Voices Rise
Founded in 2021 by internationally acclaimed musician Shir Rozzen, the Rozzen School of the Arts is a home for passionate, young creatives. Rooted in excellence and guided by compassion, the school proudly offers three innovative programs — each designed to cultivate artistic growth and personal expression in a supportive and inspiring environment.
We collaborate with world-renowned guest artists, certified educators, and experts in child development to ensure a truly holistic and professional learning experience.
Welcome from the Founder & Artistic Director
Dear Students, Families, and Friends,
Welcome to the Rozzen School of the Arts — a unique program designed to nurture young artists through personal, high-level training in music, performance, and creative expression.
This program wasn’t born from a business plan — it was born from a calling.
A moment in time when the world fell silent, and children were left without a stage, a song, or a space to simply be artists.
In the heart of the pandemic, I opened my living room — and later my heart and my entire being — to create a place where young artists could thrive, grow, and be seen for who they truly are.
This is not a traditional school.
We don’t operate from a building with classrooms and bells.
We are a hybrid program — offering both online and in-person instruction, hosted in homes, studios, and intimate creative spaces where students feel safe, seen, and inspired.
Through our music, drama, visual arts, and enrichment programs, we raise bold and sensitive young people who go out into the world with strength — and soul.
What began as a small, homegrown idea has become a thriving, heart-centered program serving young artists across South Florida and beyond.
My own journey began in Israel, where I was born and raised.
At 14, I made the life-changing decision to move to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming a professional musician. I didn’t have an official audition scheduled when I arrived — just a voice and a dream.
So I did what I knew best: I sang.
I stood in the Juilliard lobby, right by the guards, and began to sing — until the Head of the School came down the elevator and asked, “Who are you?”
Without skipping a beat, I smiled and said, “I’m your new student.”
That moment of chutzpah changed my life.
Today, I dedicate this program to making the path easier for the next generation — so they don’t have to rely on guts alone to find their place. They’ll have guidance. Support. Mentorship. A family.
As a graduate of Juilliard and the Curtis Institute of Music, and as a performer and educator with deep experience across genres and cultures, my mission is to pass forward everything I’ve learned — not just about technique, but about courage, identity, and creativity.
I invite you to explore our programs, meet our community, and become part of this journey.
Sincerely,
Shir Rozzen
